Stella has been an artist all her life and finds

      much joy and satisfaction in the creation

      process.  She attended the San Antonio Art

      Institute where she made many strong associations

      with fellow artists of all media.

      She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree,

      studio art, graduating Magna Cum Laude 

      from Texas State University in San Marcos

      Texas.

      Stella is predominantly a painter using oils

      and /or acrylics, however does create artwork with

      alternate media such as fibers and found objects. 

      She also captures images with photography.

      Stella's work has been recognized as one of the Top

      100 in Texas paintings by the Artist's Magazine, 2006.

      Her work has been published in several publications

      including literary magazines and recipe books.

      Stella is one of the Founding Members and the Board Chair

      of the newly established (2009) SchertZ Area ArtZ Council,

      in lovely Shertz, Texas where she resides with her husband

      and son.  

      She continues to be inspired and 

      create visual art.
